The party

A successfull evening

In spite of the weather, the evening was pleasant. The guests received their gifts, they won at the registration on our site. They could visit our offices and the garden, especially laid out for the party.

The arrival of the Minister Jeannot KRECKÉ. After a greeting speech, he got ready to handle his character (avatar) in Second Life ,created especially for this evening, the flag of Luxemburg in his "virtual" hand. He officially unveil our virtual offices, and placed the flag of Luxemburg in front of the Gax virtual building. Now, Luxemburg really exist in Second Life.

In company with the Minister, Cornelia den Hartog, our Managing Director, begins to do the introductions.

The beginning of the first session of Networking. People gathered round and could not help speaking about this symbolic action. Our IT specialists tried to answer each questions. What is Second Life for ? Is it usefull in real life ?

At the 1st floor, everybody could appreciate the demonstration of our current products.

Everybody enjoyed the evening, the wine of James CARPI "Domaine des Roches", the barbecue and the bar. The guests talked about his and that, but the main topic was Second Life. Some of them tried to manipulate the avatar on the giant screen placed at their disposal. The beginning of a new item. The 2nd session of networking begun.

The GAX-party runs in a real good mood. The guests chattering one with another in a friendly atmosphere, everybody seem to enjoy this evening. Especially our managing director, Cornelia den Hartog, who notice an increasingly curiosity for Second Life. She's really looking forward to see other luxembourger Companies joining this virtual world. Luxembourg must have an active place in Second Life.

Little by little the guests leave the party with their Gax-bag, obviously, they have spent a good evening. The Gax team wished everyone had spent a good party has we did.
